Matthew Donaldson creates impressionistic paintings of Canadian national forests out of his studio in Guelph. His work is about dark quiet places that he finds the most comfort in. He has shown work in Guelph, Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto. Influenced by Caravaggio, J.M.W Turner, and John Singer Sargent and more, his work is popular among passionate collectors looking for unique landscapes that are mysterious and endless.
